ALAIN COSTA
For more than twenty years, Alain Costa has been developing a distinctive photographic style in which light, forms, and materials come together to create a sophisticated and contemporary aesthetic. From beauty and fine jewelry to advertising and watchmaking, he cultivates a bold yet sensitive vision.
Self-taught, he began his career in Paris in the early 2000s, notably with publications in Vogue. His career has been marked by several years of campaigns for Guerlain and Rolex, as well as collaborations with major international houses such as Dior, Armani, Shiseido, Issey Miyake, Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff, and many others.
Today, his collaboration with Vacheron Constantin plays a significant role in his work, featuring creations for Watches and Wonders, “Time Is Art,” and “La Quête du Temps,” a project associated with the Louvre Museum. He also creates visuals for Homo Faber in Venice.
At the same time, he pursues a personal photographic practice, fueled in particular by his interest in architecture and shaped by his discovery of Oscar Niemeyer’s works in Brazil.
Between international commissions and personal projects, Alain Costa continues his exploration of the image, guided by his curiosity and his high aesthetic standards.
